How the Sale Works

 Curry County Jr. Livestock Sale

2020 Champions & Buyers

The sale proceeds from each animal will paid to the junior exhibitor and used for one of the following:

* Rewarding Excellence - these exemplary exhibitors will utilize these funds to continue their agricultural pursuits and education. These young people are the future of Agriculture.

Auction catalogs are handed out at the door with the sale order.  The Auctioneer and his ring men will be taking bids scattered around the sale ring.  Hold your hand up high when the animal you choose to bid on is on the auction block. If you won the bid, your name will be called by the Auctioneer!

OUR PAST SUPPORTERS:

The Competition

Annually young agriculturalists from across Curry County arrive at the County Fair Grounds with their livestock and high hopes in their trailers.  These kids ages 9 to 19 and have spent 100's of hours over the summer or in some cases the past year feeding, grooming and preparing their animals to compete in one of the largest county fairs in NM.  These are active young people attending school, participating in 4H and FFA and competing in many other extracurricular activities concurrently.
